About the role
Elementa Wales is seeking a fluent Welsh speaker who can provide caring and proactive classroom support to work with schools across Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT). This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact while enjoying flexible work.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting learning through Welsh and English, working with individuals and small groups, and helping pupils participate confidently, ensuring pupils receive high-quality learning and support.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils during lessons through the medium of Welsh and English.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and participation.
- Help prepare resources and maintain a safe, positive learning environment.
- Observe pupil progress and share relevant feedback with teaching staff.
Requirements
- Fluency in spoken Welsh and confidence supporting learning through Welsh.
- Relevant experience supporting children or young people.
- Strong communication, patience and reliability.
- A positive, flexible and professional approach.
Desirable:
- A relevant support qualification
- Experience with additional learning needs. (beneficial but not essential)
