Location: Cardiff
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
Start date: ASAP
Essential: Fluent Welsh speaker, DBS (or willingness to apply) and EWC registration (or willingness to apply)
A warm, friendly and highly supportive Welsh-medium primary school in Cardiff is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with primary-aged children and who wants to contribute positively within a nurturing school environment.
We are looking for an individual who can be a positive role model, build strong relationships with pupils, and support learning across the school—both in small groups and 1:1. Experience supporting children with SEN/SEND, SEMH needs, or challenging behaviour is desirable, but not essential. A caring, patient approach and a willingness to learn are equally valued.

They use a range of supportive strategies—including nurture-based approaches and outdoor learning—to help children succeed emotionally, socially and academically. Training opportunities are plentiful, with staff encouraged to grow and contribute new ideas.
