Elementa are recruiting for a Teacher of Science at this rapidly improving secondary school in the Lockleaze area of Bristol.
The right candidate will hold a UK QTS qualification, alongside a honours degree in a relevant subject, and will have experience teaching across at least two key stages. You will have a good understanding of the requirements of the science national curriculum and the skills to engage all learners effectively. You will be a proactive member of the team, demonstrating initiative and a can-do approach, as well as being agile and able to respond to the changing needs in your environment. You will have an up to date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation and implement this in accordance with trust wide and school policies.
Responsibilities to include:
- Teaching across Key Stages 3&4
- Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge
- Lesson planning and delivery of engaging and inspiring lessons
- Assessments and statutory reporting requirements for parents and carers
