Pay: £80 - £100 per day Term Time Only - £17,842 – £19.698 perm salary equivalent (actual pay & salary figures)
Type: Full time, temp-to-perm (12 week/60 day transfer contract)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

We are inviting applications from experienced Learning Support Assistants who are looking for an interesting role where they can use all of there skills and lead & coordinate learning sessions. The role will be based at the new Trowbridge hub site for 18 hours per week, with the remainder of the hours being spent at the Calne site. This role has arisen thanks to the ongoing expansion of this primary age range Alternative Provision (based in Calne) which has created a high demand for their service. The expansion is thanks to the continued successful outcomes for pupils at this provision.
The right person for this role will either be a qualified HLTA (Level 3/4) or have significant experience at leading learning sessions in schools or other SEND settings. We would like to hear from applicants who have experience of working with children that have SEMH and display challenging behaviour as well as other areas of SEND. If you have already had training in positive behaviour management (such as Team Teach) and/or THRIVE training we would be very interested in hearing from you. If you have practical experience of working with children displaying challenging behaviour and are successful in your application for this post, Team Teach training will be offered free of charge.
The job role will involve -
(Trowbridge)
- working in collaboration with the class teacher
- leading & coordinating the learning activities
- coordinating the x4 1:1 LSAs to ensure the learning activities are well delivered for the x4 students in the setting
(Calne)
- working as a 1:1 & group LSA
- supporting SLT with learning planning & learning activities
Because of the requirement to be able to travel between sites, you must have your own transport to be considered for this role.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity which will start on a 12 week trial (60 paid days) basis and will become permanent on successful completion of the trial period.
