Elementa are recruiting for an experienced SEND Teacher to work at this special school setting for children aged 3 - 11, that have Autism (ASC/ASD), SEMH and additional complex needs. All of the children at this school are in the Primary age phase and have an EHCP for their condition.
The school are seeking a teacher with previous experience of having worked extensively with children that have Autism and other complex needs. Ideally this would suit a teacher with specific EYFS experience or specialism. At this school the class sizes vary from 10 - 12 children and there are usually 5 adults supporting teaching and learning in the classroom. The School have a broad curriculum offering to support the varied needs of each child and includes outdoor learning as part of their curriculum. The school enjoys modern school buildings and a positive colleague culture which leads to a highly collaborative staff team.
Ofsted have long graded this school 'Good' and the school are working hard to continue to enhance their offering for the future. The school is also part of a large, well-managed trust and are therefore well-resourced.
The trust & school are open to a wide range of applicant for this role. This role could suit an ECT with previous experience of having supported pupils with Autism. ECT induction can be supported. Equally this role could support a more experience teacher.
The role is advertised with an immediate start date although a later start date is also possible for the right candidate.

- must hold UK QTS
- previous UK & UK curriculum teaching experience
- have good previous experience of supporting learners with Autism
- be based in the UK and available to interview in person
