Science Technician

Our client, a well-respected secondary academy based in Bristol, is seeking a dedicated and professional Science Technician to join their team on a contract basis. About the Role:
As a Science Technician, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and support practical science lessons, ensuring a safe and well-equipped learning environment. You will work closely with teaching staff to facilitate practical experiments, maintain laboratory resources, and uphold health and safety standards across the science department.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Experience in support staff roles with a background in science laboratories or technician support
- Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within school laboratories
- Ability to organise and prepare equipment and materials efficiently
- Supportive and professional approach to working with students and staff
- Experience working within secondary school settings is desirable but not essential
