Are you a passionate Science Teacher who believes in the power of education to spark curiosity, foster investigative skills, and inspire a lifelong love of science? Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teachers of Science who can deliver engaging, hands-on lessons across the curriculum. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young people to explore scientific concepts, develop critical thinking, and build confidence in their abilities within a positive learning environment.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Promote enquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (Elementa can assist)
• Experience teaching Science at secondary level (including placements)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable:
• Experience delivering lessons across KS5
• A reflective and adaptable teaching approach
