School Administrator / Receptionist
We are seeking an organised, professional, and friendly individual to join our team as a School Administrator within a primary school in Downend, Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, school office professional, receptionist, or individual with strong administrative and customer service skills who is looking to work within a welcoming primary school environment.
The School Administrator will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Responsibilities may include providing administrative support to the school office, handling phone and email enquiries, welcoming parents, pupils, and visitors, maintaining accurate school records, supporting attendance administration, assisting teaching and senior leadership staff, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident using office and school-based systems, and demonstrate a calm, professional, and approachable manner when dealing with pupils, parents, staff, and visitors.
