Elementa are a recruitment partner for this provision and are supporting in the recruitment of an Occupational Therapist to join their dedicated team in West Drayton.
The Alternative Provision supports students who benefit from a more personalised and nurturing learning environment. The setting plays a vital role within the local community, working closely with families and partner agencies to re-engage learners and support positive outcomes.
The provision has developed a strong reputation for its inclusive approach, high expectations, and commitment to student wellbeing. With ongoing investment in facilities and therapeutic support, there is a positive and ambitious outlook for the future. While recent inspections have identified areas for improvement, the leadership team is proactive and confident in driving forward meaningful change.

You will play a key role in helping pupils develop the skills needed for independence, engagement in learning, and everyday activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and support students with a range of needs, including sensory processing and motor skills
- Develop and implement personalised intervention plans
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to embed therapeutic strategies within the classroom
- Provide guidance and training to staff to support pupil needs effectively
- Monitor and review student progress, adapting interventions as required
- Contribute to EHCP targets and multi-disciplinary planning
Elementa is the recruiting partner therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting, background & referencing checks and application for a DBS Enhanced Disclosure (which may be chargeable at £64.20) unless you have a current DBS on the update service.
