Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teachers of MFL who can deliver engaging, dynamic lessons across the curriculum. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young people to develop confidence in communication, appreciate different cultures, and achieve their full potential in languages within a positive learning environment.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, you will:
• Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Teach one or more languages such as French, Spanish, or German
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (Elementa can assist)
• Experience teaching MFL at secondary level (including placements)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
Desirable:
• Experience across KS3 and KS4
• Ability to teach more than one language
• A reflective and adaptable teaching approach
