Elementa Support Services is proudly partnering with a school in Thornbury, South Gloucestershire, to find a dedicated and skilled Maths Teacher. This position is ideal for an experienced educator with a strong background in mathematics.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging maths lessons to students, fostering a positive and productive learning environment. This role requires a firm understanding of the curriculum and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality maths instruction to students.
- Teaching across key stages 3 & 4 (no planning or marking)
- Create and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.
- Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning Skills (QTLS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching mathematics at the relevant key stage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and excellence in teaching.
Compensation
This position offers a competitive daily rate ranging from £162.31 to £195.05, depending on experience and qualifications.
Contract & recruitment information
