Elementa are recruiting a Maths Teacher for this secondary school based on the East side of Bristol. Informally, the school have long enjoyed a good reputation for their standards of pupil behaviour and attainment. In the last few years, having joined a multi-academy trust, they have enhanced their student offering. Through the tireless work of the staff team and additional MAT resourcing, their recent Ofsted report graded them good in all areas, which they are incredibly proud of.
This recent result positively underlines the hard work and the support that colleagues had already provided for so many years but has now been formally recognised. If you want to be part of a team that has aspirations to improve their Ofsted assessment to outstanding, this is a great opportunity for you.
This role will suit someone who has ideas to bring to the team and is wiling and eager to demonstrate their initiative. You'll have, or have aspirations to, deliver outstanding teaching & learning and enjoy working with students that respond well to the investment the teachers make in them. You'll be rewarded with lots of colleague support & mentoring, good access to CPD and personal development and be recognised as a teacher able to teach to the standards set by this well respected school. The role is open to both ECTs and FQTs who are able to demonstrate the drive that marries up with the schools journey of improvement in all areas.
The school are clear to invest and support their colleagues and are clear in their offering of:
- Commitment to CPD and development of all staff including collaborative support and instructional coaching to allow teachers to thrive
- A clear curriculum vision and focus on evidence-based practice
- A commitment to inclusivity and fostering of diversity
- Values and vision that are lived not laminated
