Our client is a very successful secondary school, delivering to students across Key Stages 3.-5. The school have long enjoyed an excellent reputation both for student attainment and overall standards across the school. Elementa are supporting the schools recruitment for Learning Support Assistants.
This role will involve supporting students who are in year groups 7-10. The majority of work however will be with year 7 students, supporting their transition into secondary education. The role will involve working on a 1:1 basis with students that have additional learning needs, the needs of course depend on the child however the students are expected to stay in mainstream education and it's understood they are able to access normal learning otherwise.
Although experience of having supported children in an education / learning setting is preferred, applicants that have experience of having work with children in other environments may be considered.
