Pay: Starting £25,823 rising incrementally to £28,639 (pro rata)
Type: Full time, Permanent (via 12 week Elementa trial contract)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Term time only + 5 insets

We are recruiting for a Cover Supervisor for a large mainstream Academy Secondary School, in the Kingswood area of Bristol. The school is a vibrant and diverse place of education, where the school encourages “students to thrive academically; flourish and grow as young, people.”
You will be working with years 7-11 (KS3 & 4) which will also include exam groups, you may also be required to cover tutor groups during staff absence.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver lesson plans to a high standard, and that meet Academy needs. You will be responsible for co-ordinating lesson cover within the Academy. And will supervise whole classes and/or small groups during the short-term absence of the timetabled class teacher, whether planned or un-planned absence.
This role would be suitable for an ECT looking to gain valuable teaching experience. Many Cover Supervisors go onto secure full-time teaching positions within the trust, as a result.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity which will start on a 12 week trial (60 paid days) basis and will become permanent on successful completion of the trial period.
