Elementa is recruiting for a Teacher of ICT for a popular Secondary School in the Thornbury area of Bristol. This is a fixed-term contract for a period of around 4 months, with a strong possibility a permanent position may become available at the end of the 4 month period. As well as teaching ICT, this role will include teaching PSHE (Lifeskills), which would be a maximum 6 lessons over the 2 week timetable, all lessons plans will be fully prepared for this. The remainder of the timetable will be teaching ICT to years 7-12, and would therefore include both GSCE and A-Level lessons.
Responsibilities to include:
- Teaching across Key Stages 3&4
- Planning and marking included
- Year 7 tutor group
- GSCE & A-Level classes
Candidates that hold a UK QTS qualification in a relevant subject are preferred for this role, but the school may consider applications from candidates that have relevant UK teaching experience in a similar subject.
