This post for Hospital Learning Support Assistant is to support the teacher delivering education to students currently in hospital. This role is an interim role after the previous post-holder moved role internally within the school. The right person to take on this Hospital Learning Support role will ideally have similar previous experience but must have experience as a Learning Support Assistant. The students will be aged 4-16 so applicants that have experience of supporting learning across all age ranges will be preferred. As well as practical learning support assistant experience, if you have additional experience of supporting students with SEND including perhaps trauma, medical needs and other physical needs then you'd likely be well suited to this role.
This role will be based working onsite, in a hospital setting so applicants should consider relevant matters; such as:

- do you have the mental endurance to work with & support students with potentially distressing personal situations?
