Elementa Support Services are pleased to present a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with SEND experience, to support in the school's "learning room", where some students go for additional support. The school is committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment, and they are seeking a professional, empathetic, and experienced HLTA to join the SEND team.
About the Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for candidates who have proven experience working as an HLTA, particularly within SEND settings. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong understanding of SEND needs, effective behaviour management skills, and the ability to support students with a variety of learning requirements to achieve their full potential. **Key Attributes:** - Previous experience as an HLTA, preferably within secondary education - Background in SEND, with a good understanding of various needs and strategies - Excellent communication and team collaboration skills - Reliable and flexible attitude - Committed to promoting positive learning experiences and behaviours
