Elementa is recruiting for an HLTA for this popular primary school in the Emersons Green area of Bristol.
For this role you will need an NVQ level 3 or similar, with relevant experience, or considerable experience in a similar role or environment.
As an HLTA you will be working alongside the class teacher, supporting them with the running and management of the class and covering during their PPE time, and supporting learners that have difficulty engaging, giving them the the tools to achieve personal and academic success.
Responsibilities to include:
- Supporting children with learning difficulties, to help them overcome barriers
- Working alongside senior leadership in developing specialist learning and engagement plans
- Establish working relationships with students
- Act as a role model
- Support students in and out of the classroom
- Cover in the absence of class teacher
