Are you an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference in children’s learning and development? Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking schools to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable HLTAs who can provide high-quality support across the curriculum. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young people, support emotional wellbeing, and help deliver engaging lessons in a positive, inclusive learning environment.
About the Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
• Support teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
• Work with small groups and individual pupils to accelerate progress
• Support pupils’ emotional, social, and behavioural development (ELSA experience desirable)
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress effectively
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
• Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply (Elementa can assist)
Desirable:
• Experience as an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant)
• Experience supporting pupils across KS2 and KS3
• Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

• Successful completion of a 12-week / 60 paid day employment trial period
