Elementa are recruiting a Design Technology Teacher for this secondary school based on the East side of Bristol. Informally, the school have long enjoyed a good reputation for their standards of pupil behaviour and attainment. In the last few years, having joined a multi-academy trust, they have enhanced their student offering. Through the tireless work of the staff team and additional MAT resourcing, their recent Ofsted report graded them good in all areas, which they are incredibly proud of.

This role will suit someone who has ideas to bring to the team and is willing and eager to demonstrate their initiative. The Design Technology Teacher role breakdown & additional information is:
- KS3 carousel subjects
- 1 x KS4 Art & Textiles class (these classes may be shared)
- 1 x GCSE Food Technology group (these classes may be shared)
- Design Technology curriculum = AQA
- Food Technology curriculum = Educas

Elementa will be managing all applicants and screening their suitability for the school. Elementa are not a supply agency, we are a schools services & recruiting partner to schools. We will manage the candidate vetting & compliance and process your payroll on behalf of the school whilst on trial contract. The school will engage the successful candidate on trial contract through Elementa (12 week / 60 day contract, paid to scale from the outset) to assess suitability and confirm the intention of engagement on permanent contract. Therefore applicants being considered for the role after pre-screening will be required to complete the registration process for Elementa. This includes full vetting & background checks and application for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure (which may be chargeable at £49.60) unless you have a current DBS on the update service.
