Cover Supervisor

About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working with young people within a secondary or middle school setting
- Confidence supervising whole classes and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher
- The ability to follow lesson plans and ensure pupils remain engaged with set work
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, professional approach to classroom supervision
- Confidence in supporting pupils of varying abilities and needs, promoting inclusion and participation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and classroom settings
- A commitment to supporting pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development
- Reliability, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider school team
- A positive and proactive attitude, encouraging high standards of behaviour, attendance, and engagement across the school community
Contract & Recruitment Information
