Our Alternative Learning Provision - Elmtree Learning Partnership Devon - is based in the Stoke Hill areas of Exeter and serves primary & secondary-aged pupils with EHCPs relating to Autism, ADHD, SEMH & trauma. Our Headquarters are based in Weston-super-Mare - Elmtree Learning Partnership. Since 2022 we've built a strong reputation for offering outstanding ALP based on our outlook, "Every child. Every opportunity. The right opportunity." Our ALP operates a ‘revolving-door’ offering whereby students stay at the provision for up to 18 weeks, either on a full-time or part-time 'transition' basis before returning to a mainstream education setting or attending a special school.
We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Cleaner which is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for learners, staff, and visitors. Duties will include cleaning learning areas, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard, in line with health and safety and school hygiene requirements including COSHH. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with cleaning experience, or those looking for stable, ongoing work within an educational environment.
The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous cleaning experience (education, school or commercial settings desirable but not essential)

A strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness

The ability to work independently and manage time effectively

A reliable, punctual, and professional approach

An understanding of health and safety procedures

The ability to work around children in an education school environment
Applicant information
NB - The role may alternatively be offered on a 60-day trial period with the intention to offer a permanent contract after successful trial completion.
