Elementa Support Services is working in partnership with supportive and forward-thinking secondary schools to recruit enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teachers of Business & Economics. This is an exciting opportunity to help students develop commercial awareness, financial literacy, and analytical thinking while preparing them for further education and future careers.
As a Teacher of Business & Economics, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies and Economics lessons in line with the national curriculum

Teach Business and/or Economics across KS3, KS4 and KS5 (where applicable)

Inspire students to develop entrepreneurial thinking, financial understanding, and problem-solving skills
-
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Assess, monitor, and report on student progress effectively

Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times
-
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community
-
Take part in ongoing professional development opportunities
We are looking for someone who:
-
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Has experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics in a secondary school setting
-
Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for developing students' understanding of business and economic concepts
-
Can motivate and engage learners of all abilities
-
Has strong classroom management and communication skills
-
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
-
Is willing to undertake further professional development where required
